Friday Night in Boston with Lively & Xtend Barre

Last night I was lucky enough to attend an event in Boston by one of my favorite brands, Lively! The NYC based company has been hosting a series of pop-up shops along the East Coast and teamed up with the ladies at Xtend Barre in Boston’s Back Bay for an awesome night of fitness, food, friends and fashion.

I first discovered Lively on Instagram back before they had officially launched and fell in love with their affordable and stylish bras, bralettes and underwear. Their brand is focused on creating comfortable, affordable and stylish bras and underwear that blur the lines of traditional lingerie, activewear, and swim to create what they like to call Leisurée. After their launch in the spring of last year I snatched up my first purchase, which you can read all about here.

Since Lively is only sold online at the moment, I was excited for the opportunity to see and try on the pieces in person and to meet the girls behind the product face to face! For those of you who might live in the Boston area (or near any Xtend Barre locations) I highly suggest that you pay them a visit. Like I said before, this was my first ever Barre class and it certainly did not disappoint. Their beautiful Boston studio overlooks Newbury Street, was a short walk from the T, and served as the perfect hosts for this event.

Super cute stickers

I wasn’t sure what to expect from my first Barre experience, but our instructor Andrea was amazing and led a high tempo workout (with an awesome playlist) that had my legs, arms and abs burning and shaking from start to finish. I love taking new classes because it reminds me of how many different forms of exercises are out there. Not to mention the competitor in me lives for the challenge that comes along with trying something for the first time. I will definitely be taking another Barre class with Xtend in the near future and plan to check out their London location while on my trip this fall! I had so much fun and could already feel what a great workout it was in my legs and abs before I even left the studio.

Picked up my favorite Long Lined Lace Bralette in Light Pink last night!

After the class finished up the girls from Lively handed out some gifts and had us all pose for a picture together. Thankfully I was able to get a great snap on my camera to share on here (thank you Xtend Barre team!) and show off our cute crop tops and bags. Lively had set up their mini pop-up shop right inside the studio lobby complete with drinks, cupcakes and stickers along with all of the new products that they had on display. I have been eyeing the Long Lined Lace Bralette in pink for a while now so I placed my order with Ruby and am super excited to get that in the mail!

Such a fun evening with these ladies!

I am so thankful to have been invited by my friends at Lively to this event, as someone who has watched their product grow and expand from the very beginning it was so nice to put faces to names and talk to the girls behind this amazing company. It was an amazing way to not only network but also meet so many lovely and like-minded people in my area. After talking with Ruby and Kelly I do know that they will be hosting another pop-up event in LA in April, so if any of you are from the Los Angeles area be sure to look out for them!

Thank you again to Xtend Barre and Lively for such a great evening.

xx Kelly
